The session will also explore the differences between incentives and bonuses, highlight emerging incentive design trends, and share innovative strategies for communicating total rewards in ways that drive understanding and engagement. Ryan Buhrke, M.A., CCP, GRP is a seasoned total rewards leader with nearly 20 years of experience spanning manufacturing, technology, retail, and financial services. He currently serves as Director, Total Rewards at Edmentum and serves on the Board of Directors for the Twin Cities Compensation Network (TCCN). Known for his data-informed and behavioral economics approach, Ryan specializes in designing incentive programs, global rewards, and executive compensation that align with business strategy and drive performance. He holds a Master’s in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and professional certifications as a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and Global Remuneration Professional (GRP) from WorldatWork. An active voice in the HR community, Ryan has presented at industry conferences sharing his passion for making compensation a strategic force. Originally from Chicago, Ryan now calls the Twin Cities home. He lives in Woodbury, MN with his family, and in his free time you’ll find him cooking, traveling, or exploring local museums and zoos with his three kids.
